Gross domestic product of Ukraine
Gross domestic product (abbreviated GDP) is a macroeconomic indicator for the total market value of all the final goods and services produced in a year by a country for consumption, export, and investment. GDP is often used to measure the economic activity of a country or region.

There is a distinction between nominal GDP and real GDP. Nominal GDP is expressed in current (actual) prices of a given year. Real GDP (adjusted for inflation) is expressed in prices of the previous (or any other base) year. Thus, real GDP takes into account the extent to which GDP growth is determined by real production growth, and not by price growth. If necessary, the country's GDP can also be expressed in foreign currency, most commonly US dollars, for reference purposes.

- The population is on average per year
GDP can be determined in three ways, all of which should, theoretically, give the same result.
- Production approach (value added approach)
- Income approach (sum of primary incomes)
- Expenditure approach (sum of the final uses of goods and services)
