The tenth package of European Union sanctions introduced due to Russia's illegal invasion of Ukraine has officially entered into force. In total, restrictions were introduced against 87 individuals and 34 legal entities. Among other things, three large Russian banks (Alfa Bank, Rosbank and Tinkoff Bank) have been sanctioned by the EU. Thus, Alfa Bank is the largest Russian private bank, which ranks third in terms of the number of clients in the retail segment and fourth in terms of assets. The sanctioned list also included such large corporations as "Commercial Cars – GAZ Group" LLC; National Reinsurance Company; several Rosatom enterprises; "Rosatomflot", which manages the nuclear icebreaker fleet of the Russian Federation, "Sputnik" information agency, "Russia Today" media group and others.
